HOW DID WASSLA WEEKLY COME ABOUT?
NO! I am not claiming I am a professional and am not giving out ANY financial advice or anything like that. I am just a single mother of two in her late thirties who has found her own way of looking at the business knowledge that is already out there. This blog is my own unique opinion and as a disclaimer I am not specialized in any way or am not responsible if you decide to listen to or ignore and of my advice. Now that we got that out of the way… I have been in business management and sales for the last decade and have learned alot from my many experiences and what better place to voice my opinions, stories and tips then here on Wassla Weekly:)
WHEN & WHY DID I DECIDE TO START WASSLA WEEKLY?
I have always wanted to help/teach people and I knew I had a lot of knowledge and experience in regards to business, marketing(online & offline), mindset, etc. So after my many years of procrastinating on starting a youtube channel or creating a ebook I decided I’d finally take the leap and do what made the most sense to me in my current situation: Start Wassla Weekly.
WHAT DOES WASSLA MEAN?
Honestly… I don’t know what Wassla means or if it is even a real word(maybe in another language) but it has some personal meaning to me which I describe here briefly:
When I was a young girl I used to play hockey (growing up in Ontario, Canada this was a very common sport) and for some reason my coaches and team mates gave me the nickname ‘Wassla’ which to me means someone who is a young hustler. Throughout my years I have managed to keep this name and it has really grown on me which is why I thought it’d be the perfect way to describe a weekly blog for like-minded entrepreneurs (we understand better than anyone what it means to be a ‘hustler’).
WHO ARE YOU?
In short my name Elizabeth. I am a 38 year old single mother of two teenage boys, my parents and I immigrated to Canada from Peru when I was 3 and I currently live in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada (I do travel almost everyday to Toronto though). I have many years of experience in business management, business development, sales, lead generation, online & offline marketing (SEO, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, etc.) and I want to simply SHARE the wealth of knowledge I believe I’ve accumulated over the last 10 years. I don’t claim to be a ‘guru’ or anything like that but hopefully you can gain some value from this blog and learn new ideas and hopefully avoid some mistakes I made along my entrepreneurial journey:) If you would like to know a little more about me you can check out the about page on Wassla Weekly.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT NEXT FROM WASSLA WEEKLY?
I am planning on doing my very best to at least post one value-packed blog post a week, I may post more or less depending on what is happening in my life(I will be posting a few extra this week because I am really motivated to get this blog started).
Here’s some topics you can expect in the next few weeks/months
