What Others Are Doing

What if the part of the world that’s experiencing night time could lend its energy to the other side of the world where it’s day?  The concept may not be too far off in the future.  One American project in the state of New Mexico is in the works to do it.  Read more about this project and other ways of storing renewable energy at “Green Energy News.”

What You Can Do

There are so many nasty chemicals available to supposedly clean your home with, but green cleaners are taking the market by storm.  Check it out at “Green Living Tips.”

Bigger isn’t always better, especially when you’re trying to save the environment.  Some products come in concentrated versions, which means they’re smaller, and they cut down on shipping fuel needed to get them to your store.  Read more reasons to buy concentrated products at Green Living Tips.

Volunteer

Lend a hand to those with disabilities by volunteering your time with Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust.  The organization helps bring rehabilitative services to the disabled through education, services, and outreach.  You can help level the playing field for people with disabilities.  The trust needs volunteers like you to make this happen.  If time is not on your side, you can also help by making a monetary donation.

Help needy kids stay in school by volunteering with the Child Foundation.  Since 1994 the Child Foundation has been working to provide food, clothing, educational materials, and medical aid to kids who otherwise might have to drop out of school.  These kids sometimes drop out to work and help support their families, denying themselves an education that could make a difference.  You can help by sponsoring a child or volunteering your time.
